Another Big Year for us at Ty Nant Outdoors, This little Business takes an ever-changing path and each year. Our new website has been working well and having just updated for 2018 in a fraction of the time enjoying the benefits now of the hard work put in earlier in the year. A streamlined office experience.

British Canoeing Courses

British Canoeing courses remain the heart and sole of my year’s work. I have become a course director of Paddlesports Instructor (Level 1), Paddlesports Leader Award Assesment and the new Coach Award courses. These compliment the Rescue and Leadership courses I have been running for years and help make the suite of British Canoeing Courses more viable for both Ty Nant Outdoors and my freelance work up and down the country. I love helping the future of this sport develop and progress.

Llangollen Paddlesports

Discover Whitewater Kayaking and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Canoe Tours have been as busy as ever. Lovely activities for groups of all ages and backgrounds compliment the professional development we do for the industry. The team we have working on these never fail to impress. This year I made the big decision to stop running our own Whitewater Rafting, it felt a bit wrong but such a great stress-free decision allowing me to spend more time with my young family in Holiday periods. HAPPY DAYS

Attingham Park Sessions

The contract at the National Trusts Attingham Park this summer was a bit of a washout if I am honest, as was most peoples August. the jury is out for next year. I love the setting and paddling up the River Tern is a spectacular way to enjoy the Park, however, some changes will need to be made to make this more viable for next year.

Thank you so much for all of your continued support. I would also like to thank All our team and companies that support us. Firstly Peak UK as they have been the biggest support to me for so many years. New relationships with Hou Canoes, Palm, Dagger, System X and VE paddles.

British Canoeing has been working hard this year to develop their courses. We have seen some lovely new fresh thinking courses develop and we have been on the front line to provide them. Find out more about these fresh thinking, fit for purpose courses on our website from the links above.

We have set dates for individuals to book online. If the dates don’t suit, do get in touch. We are happy to adjust dates to suit client if at all possible.

We can set any of our courses up for groups at dates to suit you at greatly discounted prices – see our 2018 Group Price Discounts below for our 2 day BC courses.

1-2 people- £170 per person (£340 for 2)
3 people- £160pp (£480)
4 people -£150pp (£600)
5 people – £140pp (£700)
6 people- £125pp (£750)
7 People- £125pp (£875)
8 people- £120pp (£960)
9 people- £110pp (£990)
10 people- £110pp (£1100)

If a course is not full we reserve the right to fill it with other individuals.
All prices do not include certificate fees or facilities fees
Drysuit hire is always available at £45 for a weekend.
These bulk discounts are automatically given on dates already set on the website.
