From 2000 to 2012 I worked for myself as a professional Coach running paddlesports trips and courses under www.andyturton.com . I based myself in Austria in Austria during the summer months, ran trips in Autumn and Winter to Nepal, South America and beyond as well as worked extensively both for myself and as a freelance Coach for other reputable North Wales companies.

In 2011 I decided to set up My own Ltd company first in Partnership with my good friend Chris at Paddlesowrks then changing to Ty Nant Outdoors in 2012. Bigger has been amazing now joining forces with so many of the one man band coaches and working with each other to provide leading coaching and courses. Growing and improving together.

Paddlesports is the very Heart of Ty Nant. We can still do any trip you or your group would like.

Had a brilliant morning canoeing across the Pontcysyllte aqueduct and along the Llangollen canal with Ty Nant. None of us had canoed before but the instructor was very friendly and encouraging and guided us carefully through unloading the canoes, launching them and getting to grips with canoeing technique. The stretch of canal is pretty exciting, featuring amazing views of the Dee Valley and a tunnel as well as the incredible aqueduct. The activity was really easy to book over the phone, with excellent, friendly customer service. Highly recommend!
