Experience the Vale of Llangollen in an unforgettable way. This session will include a half day session paddling the river from Thomas Telford’s world heritage horseshoe weir and finishing in the Town of Llangollen. It will incorporate the infamous ‘Serpent’s Tail’ rapid and the magnificent ‘Town Falls’ above the Llangollen Bridge in the small Victorian town of Llangollen.
If you haven’t experienced the excitement of paddling through whitewater rapids, this is the activity for you. After getting kitted up and receiving a briefing from your qualified guide you will run the rapids, plunge over drops, break out into eddies, surf on waves and travel down the river.
The only place in The UK where there is guaranteed water to go rafting any day of the week every day of the year.
We can adapt this session for families with kids as young as 8 yrs old.
Children cannot travel without their Parents / Legal Guardian on the raft with them – Minimum of 2 Adults per raft.
Went on the canoe aqueduct tour and had a great time, knowledgeable and friendly ‘tour guide’ and instructor made us feel at ease and confident in the canoe. Great experience going over the aqueduct and plenty of time for spotting various canal wildlife along the way
