Gorge Walking in North Wales – Cynwyd

If you’re wondering what gorge walking is, this experience is a great introduction. Cynwyd offers a remote, steep gorge just a short journey from Llangollen, with the session adapted to suit different groups.

You’ll slide down slopes into plunge pools, jump from the gorge sides into deeper sections, descend alongside rock walls and clamber over boulders through the gorge. All safety equipment and clothing needed to keep you warm and safe is provided, along with an experienced instructor.

Canyoning in North Wales – Prysor

For those looking for a more challenging canyoning experience in Wales, Prysor Canyon offers a full-day adventure. Abseil down waterfalls, jump from cliffs into deep pools and slide down natural bedrock waterslides.

Really excellent session. The instructor was super supportive and made the whole experience fun and informative. Going through the tunnel and over the aqueduct was the highlight of the morning! Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s keen to have a go. Booking was easy, free parking and great scenery
