Pontcysyllte Aqueduct 10 Year World Heritage Fun Day
Part of the fun Day based at Trevor Basin Visitor Center, we are offering a number of options for you to Paddle of the Aqueducts
Canoe over Thomas Telford's World Heritage marvel of engineering 126 ft above the River Dee after a tranquil and picturesque journey down the Llangollen Canal.
This page is specifically for Pop up stalls on specific Dates run at Trevor Basin Visitor centre. You have the following options to choose from
We offer Canoe hire on the canal in 30 minutes, 1 hr, or 3 hr periods. No experience necessary you will be briefed and provided with safety equipment canoes and paddles to enjoy a paddle on the canal with different options for what you want to include. Play around the basin, paddle Over the World Heritage Aqueduct or journey up the canal towards Llangollen.
30 Min Hire: Suitable for a play around Trevor Basin and a short trip up the canal but not enough time to paddle over the aqueduct.
1hr Hire: Enough time to travel over the Aqueduct and back and have a play around the basin
3 hr Hire: All the time you need to enjoy a half day exploring the area on the canal.
Coached sessions 0930- 1230 45 min sessions
Take your family including young children on a journey on the canal, learn the fundamental handling skills in canoes &/or kayaks while having a jolly wet time on the water. Not to be missed - BOOK NOW.
Children aged 6- 8 need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children aged 9-17 need to have parent guardian permission forms signed on the day.

Double Aqueduct canoe tour 1330 to 1730
