Safety is no accident, understanding the basics of Canoe Safety will aid both understanding of this sport, help gain confidence and equip a candidate for development through the BCU /UKCC scheme.
This course is as a flat water training courses designed for all paddlers of any canoe craft. Based on safe practice and simple ways to rescue in a variety of situations possible in sheltered waters.
Our providers are experienced professionals that can bring a worldly mix of experience and in-depth understanding of the practical needs and applications of this course.
These basic techniques are the basis for the continuation throughout the BCU safety and rescue scheme.

This course is a prerequisite for Level one and two coach courses.
